Matese.biz - A travel in the "Regional Park of Matese" with its imposing taps, the numerous paths and medioeval villages, beautiful landscape to stamp and to ride on horseback or on a mountain bike, the blue sky marked by the wings of the hang glider, tastes and perfumes untouched in their fragrance: mushrooms, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, that you can find in some unpolluted places. Here still survive old trades, popular music, song, tales, job tools, typical costumes, it is in these typical expressions, that they assume characteristic and original aesthetic features, giving so the idea of tradition and values of our people. In this place are born agricultural products and works of the intellect that are so rare to the point of being unique; chestnuts, olive oil, mushrooms, pecorino cheese, caciocavallo, "burrini", sacked, fournace products, wine, the "peschiole", roast chestnuts, mint and pumpkin marmalades. Furthermore, art, creativity, fantasy: these are the colour of ceramics, copper, the inlaid wood, the old craft-made shops, the pasta homemade, the typical dresses. The map that will take across the paths of this little enchanted world is ready to make you find that the wonder is still possible, among the alleys of a village clung on the top of a bridge or under an old portal, or in an old courtyard, where life is on a human scale.

  That our land is rich of an inestimable natural and environmental patrimony, is a so acquired data for everyone, that to repeat it could be superfluous or banal.
And the same speech is worth for the historical, artistic and cultural goods.
But mount Matese is not only history and nature.
